Common uses
Kamagra is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor used to treat sexual dysfunctions (impotence, ED) in men. The effect of this med, in combination with sexual stimulation, is due to its ability to increase the blood flow into the penile body of the consumer. Kamagra can’t be used neither to prevent any sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV nor as a contraceptive means.
Before using
Never take Kamagra if you’re using certain medications (including pills, patches, ointments, etc.) containing nitrates (isosorbide, nitric oxide donor meds, recreational drugs also known as “poppers”, etc). The interactions of Kamagra ingredients with nitrates can lead to serious side effects. If you’re not sure whether the medicine that you’re taking contains nitrates or not, contact your doctor before starting to take Kamagra.
Seek for additional medical monitoring in case you are taking other ED pills (especially the ones containing sildenafil), certain antifungal meds, cimetidine, erythromycin, mibefradil, rifamycins, high blood pressure medicines or delavirdine along with Kamagra. If you’re also using some HIV protese inhibitor, such as ritonavir or saquinavir, do not exceed the maximum limited dosage of 25 mg sildenafil per 48 hours. Never take sildenafil together with alpha-blockers – the time period between taking these pills should be equal to at least 4 hours. Contact your doctor for additional drug-food interaction information.
While using Kamagra, do not start or stop taking any medicine without having informed your doctor about it. Don’t forget to inform your physician of any other medical conditions, including the conditions of your penile body (angulation, fibrosis/scarring, Peyronie's disease), painful or prolonged erections (also known as priapism), sickle cell anemia, blood system cancer, problems with eyes (especially the retina diseases), kidney or liver diseases, bleeding, stomach ulcer, heart problems (history of heart attacks and strokes, arrhythmia, coronary artery disease, aortic stenosis, idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis), unstable blood pressure or allergies.
Directions
Kamagra pills are taken orally between half an hour to four hours before the sexual act (though taking it 1 hour before the sexual act has proved to be the most effective), or as prescribed by your doctor. Never exceed the maximum accepted dosage of 1 pill of Kamagra a day. A rich fatty meal can delay the onset of Kamagra.
Never take Kamagra along with grapefruit juice and try to avoid eating grapefruits while being treated with this med. Your dosage will be based upon your personal medical condition, your response to the effect of Kamagra and its interaction with other meds that you’re taking.
Storage
Store Kamagra pills in a tightly closed container away from direct rays of sun. Average temperature at which Kamagra has to be stored equals to 77 degrees F (25 degrees C).
Precautions
Never start taking Kamagra if you have ever experienced an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients. Kamagra may cause light dizziness or eyesight problems, so we strongly suggest you avoiding driving or operating machinery before you learn how exactly your body reacts to the effect of Kamagra. You should also try to avoid drinking too much alcohol while using Kamagra.
To minimize dizziness or lightheadedness caused by Kamagra, always try to stand up slowly and steadily when rising from a seated or lying position.
Never exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your physician. In rare cases, overdose may lead to serious tachycardia or other changes in the heart rhythm. Consult your physician for detailed information on how to avoid this side effect.
Elderly people may prove to be more susceptible to the side effects of sildenafil. Kamagra is to be taken by male adults only.
Possible side effects
Possible side effects experienced in response to the effect of Kamagra include: headaches, flushing, upset stomach, palpitation, catarrh, diarrhea or other metabolic disorders, dizziness or lightheadedness. Certain problems with eyesight including abnormal sensitivity to light, blurred vision, or troubles telling blue color from green may also occur. Check with doctor in case these side effects last for too long or are excessively bothersome.
Sexual activity is associated with extra strain on the patient’s heart, which, in combination with certain side effects of sildenafil, may prove to be dangerous. If you experience severe dizziness, fainting, chest pain or nausea while having sex, stop taking Kamagra and immediately consult your doctor.
If Kamagra makes you get painful or abnormally prolonged erections (priapism), stop taking it and seek immediate medical attention in order to avoid permanent health problems.
The cases of allergic reaction to this med are extremely rare, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergy are the following: rash, itching and unusual swelling of the penis, severe dizziness or trouble breathing.
In case of overdose
In case you suspect an overdose, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose include: severe dizziness, fainting, severe tachycardia and priapism.
Extra warning
If the negative symptoms experienced by you do not go away or even get worse, consult your doctor immediately. Do not share Kamagra with other people, especially the ones for whom it wasn’t prescribed since different ED cases need different treatment, which one and the same medicine can not provide.
Keep Kamagra out of the reach of children and pets. Never use the med after the expiration date. In case you’re using Kamagra for a lasting period of time, obtain refills in advance. |
